Problem with Mail Signature after Update MacOS Ventura

While talking with an Apple advisor, I discovered that if I uncheck "Always insert attachments at the end of messages," (Under the Edit/Attachments menu) my email signature, with two images, works correctly. However, when sending attachments, until Apple fixes this issue, you will have to remember every time to put you cursor at the end of your message before you attach a file or it will put it in-line wherever your cursor is. Remember that you have to close all composing or replying windows (but not the Mail program itself obviously) before you can check or uncheck the Edit/Attachments menu. Hope this works for others.

The advisor said that she would report this up the chain. Hope it changes soon.

I just figured out the problem. The setting under Edit > Attachments > Always Insert Attachments at End of Message used to only apply to attachments you put on the message, and ignored images inside your signature. Looks like it now includes those images in that setting. Unchecking that option does fix the problem, but now you have to be careful where you put images when composing emails.

Hope they fix it like it was before, but at least we know what's happening.

Hi, just upgraded and yes, my company logo is placing at at the bottom of the email also. Seems it has something to do with 'Always Insert Attachments at End of Message' in the Edit menu. If you uncheck it, logo (placed image) goes back to where you want it in the signature BUT, and it's a BUT, when you attached an image or file into an email, it will insert where the cursor is, not at the the End of the Message. Frustrating. Yes. Hopefully they can fix this soon.

Yes, I'm having the same problem with all my signatures with images. Even tried recreating them. Mail stills pulls them to the bottom of the email much like an attachment.

The only workaround is that you can move the image back up to where it should be when you compose your email. An extra step, but it does work.

My email signatures for multiple accounts has not worked correctly since Ventura. One account it duplicates the logo as soon as I enter a recipients email address. Another account upon reply puts the signature logo at the bottom of the email instead of in the signature of my reply.

I went to the Genius Bar and they told me that any update will have glitches and will take a few more updates to correct.

Since upgrading to Ventura, I also have a problem when replying or forwarding emails. Namely, ALL logos or images/icons in the entire email chain that were originally part of the signature block of the applicable sender are repositioned at the bottom of the email.

My 2019 iMac Retina4K is also not allowing my sigfile to stay together with my logo. Logo is sent downward under quoted content. When can we anticipate a fix?

I was hoping it would have been fixed in today's 13.0.1 update, but no luck.

I know, but Apple would always be a better company if they simply acknowledged a common bug, and then posted the quick workaround. Instead, they make us all go through this...
