TMobile Network Pass Not Working - Iphone 14 Pro & iOS 16.1

Hello all,

Thanks in advance for any help. I purchased an iPhone 14 Pro at an Apple retail store. I took advantage of VZW's trade-in promotion. As I understand it, all retail purchased iPhones, except for ATT, are carrier unlocked even when taking advantage of a promotion. This seems to be substantiated while viewing Settings/Genera;/About/Carrier Lock = No Sim Restrictions.

I am thinking of switching us to TMobile (TMob), but before I do, I want to make sure their network will work for us. I downloaded and what I think was a successful install of their Network Pass. I designated the VZW line as primary and TMob as secondary. I cannot get the TMob Esim to work at all.

If I was supposed to make the TMob Esim primary, how do I go about changing it from VZW?

Like I said, any help is appreicated

It sounds like you're trying to use eSIM for two different carriers on your iPhone 14 Pro. We can help.

While it is always a good idea to confirm that your device is supported by any carrier you should also keep in mind these considerations If Dual SIM with eSIM isn't working on your iPhone:

Check your plans

- Your iPhone must be unlocked, or both cellular plans must be from the same carrier.
- Both plans must be set up and ready to use.
- Your carrier or carriers must support Dual SIM with eSIM.
- If a CDMA carrier provides your first SIM, your second SIM won't support CDMA. Contact your carrier for more information.

Hope that helps.

Take care.
