solution to "Verify you credit card" error on pc/web

This is more of a solution rather than question - i have been experiencing the same issues as i have read from others when trying to watch apple TV on a Microsoft PC and even after calling apple cust serv they also seemed baffled. Then one advisor suggeted a simple solution Use a different browser!!

I was using chrome and the whole sign in was going round in circles and this verify your credit card for shows i was already watching on my iPad. Then after trying in Edge everything seemed to work smoothly, which the advisor said, it maybe that certain chrome extensions are preventing apple tv from working smoothly.
