Duplicate Mic Mode browsers macOS Ventura

After upgrading to macOS Ventura on my 2020 27” iMac I noticed that Mic Mode’s Voice Isolation seems to be more widely supported.

The company I work for uses Google Workspace with video conferencing via Google Meet, hence why I use either Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge (chromium) for day to day work activities.

I’ve noticed that when I access Mic Mode, the Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge browser is displayed twice for some reason. Is anyone else experiencing this or might know why?

My sound setting are as follows:

• macOS: System Settings > Sound > Input = iMac Microphone
• Chrome: Privacy and security > Site settings > Microphone = Default - iMac Microphone
