Hello all, I have a new MacBook Air with adifferent imput different from the usual USB one. I´m a bit lost how do I go about it i.e. can I buy a new cord that fits the new device?

Really hoping someone can explain: I seem to be a little lost. I didn't know that new Apple devices have different ports. The new MacBook Air - OS Mojave has a different port from the USB port on my older device. How do I best solve this ?

Hi, and thanks. I am however not getting an answer to my problem. I know which port to insert a cord but where do I get the cord that fits to the computer port is my question. Someone pointed out that I should get an adapter?
