Software update for Imovie

Hello, My mac is very old am I am wanting to download Imovie but it won't let me because it needs an updated software, however, I don't know how to download the software where it needs to be. not sure what to do but I need imove for a project thnx:) my version is 10.13 and I it says it needs to be 11.51 I don't see any updates in the app store and don't know where to locate and get it updated hope this all makes sense.

MacBook Pro 13″, macOS 10.13

Getting Older App Versions:

Your device's hardware does not support the latest version. So, you might be able to use a Virtual Machine for this. So, maybe take this as a good reason to upgrade,


Run this Through a Virtual Machine:

If there ends up being not solution for Mac, consider using a Virtual Machine (VM) for this printer (Windows-in-a-window). You would open items in it, and play it right off iTunes or various Windows DVD programs. All would be accessed and would operate as desired on the VM. Virtual Machine applications include VMWare Fusion and ParallelsLearn more here: What Is a Virtual Machine? - VMware Support. Contact either one, if you need an older version of the VM software.
