If I bought the new Iphone 14 Pro Max with an AT&T carrier will I be able to add an international e-sim to it as well?

You will only be able to add an eSIM from another carrier (domestic or foreign) if your iPhone 14 Pro Max is NOT LOCKED to AT&T. If your iPhone 14 Pro Max is Carrier Locked to AT&T then no other carrier will work on it. Contact AT&T and ask about the requirements to get your iPhone unlocked so that you can use other carriers’ service on your iPhone.
