Maps voice not working

If we understand your post correctly, there is no audio in Maps when using the navigation. We'd like to help!

"If you have trouble with spoken directions on your iOS or iPadOS device

1. In the Settings app, tap Maps.
2. Tap Spoken Directions.
3. Select your options, like whether to pause podcasts for directions or whether to hear directions through your vehicle's radio.

Turn Spoken Directions on or off by tapping the audio button on the map after you start turn-by-turn navigation. See which countries or regions support turn-by-turn navigation."

We noted there will be a newer iOS version available for the device. Updating can help ensure the latest fixes/improvements are applied: Update your iPhone or iPad - Apple Support

Be sure to also check that Precise Location is currently enabled: View maps on iPhone - Apple Support

Allow Maps to use your precise location

To find your location and provide accurate directions, iPhone must be connected to the internet, and Precise Location must be on.

• If Maps displays a message that Location Services is off: Tap the message, tap Turn On in Settings, then turn on Location Services.

• If Maps displays a message that Precise Location is off: Tap the message, tap Turn On in Settings, tap Location, then turn on Precise Location.

Cellular data rates may apply (see View or change cellular data settings on iPhone).

Be sure to also ensure there are no active phone calls or screen recording occurring when trying.
