Apple ID won’t let me sign out

I accidentally signed in to my Apple ID on my friends phone and it won’t let either of us sign out or anything even tho screen time is off and we’ve tried everything and nothing is working and it won’t let her sign out. When she clicks sign out it just loads for forever and than cancles.

Screen Time is the Culprit:

Disable Screen Time, and then restart the device.  Screen Time is found in Settings.


Try manually restarting your iPhone:

  1. Go To: Settings
  2. Select: General
  3. Scroll to: the Very Bottom
  4. Select: Shut Down
  5. Slide Finger: to the Right
  6. Wait: 30 Seconds
  7. Power One: the iPhone
  8. Try this Once More

Recovering Lost Photos:


I. Enable Photos and Contacts in iCloud:

On the iPhones, enable Contacts in iCloud.

On the iPhone:

  1. Go to: Settings
  2. Tap: Your Name (Top Item)
  3. Tap: iCloud
  4. Tap: Photos (so that it is green)
  5. Tap: Contacts (so that it is green)


II. Troubleshooting Deleted Photos:

Three Things to Try:

A. Start here: If you're Missing Photos or Videos in the Photos App - Apple Support

B. Check iCloud, Directly:

Go here, and see if they reside in iCloudhttps://www.icloud.com/photos

C. Where Else to Check:

  1. PC
  2. PDA
  3. eMail
  4. Mac Device
  5. Cloud Storage
  6. Android Phone
  7. USB Flash Drive
  8. External Hard drive
  9. Secure Digital Card
  10. Compact Flash Card

What's the Device?

A. If a Mac...

Log Out in Safe Mode:

In Safe Mode, login items do not run, and corrupt system files(i.e. caches) are intentionally reset as a way to fix issues

  1. Boot: in to Safe Mode [Hold Down: shift key upon boot].
  2. Log in: as same user
  3. Log Out: of iCloud
  4. Restart; your Mac
  5. Log in: as same user


B. Verify this Device:

Verify that you this device is logged in to your account, by using this link: Check your Apple ID Device List to See where you're Signed in - Apple Support
