iTunes not recognizing phone

After multiple tutorials, guides, and hours of trying to get iTunes to recognize my phone, it still hasn't. I have updated both my PC and iPhone, I have tried 5 different charging cables, I have updated every software and device, and I have pressed the Trust this computer button. I have done every step listed on [If your computer doesn't recognize your iPhone or iPad - Apple Support ], but still nothing. Unsuprisingly, when I connect anyone else's phone to the computer, iTunes will detect their phones. What other solutions are there that I am missing to get iTunes to detect my iPhone?

Hey, I finally got everything to work. Maybe I was impatient but it took around 5-10 minutes for iTunes to prompt a new screen enabling me to setup the device. I was able to get to this screen shown below and it took another 5-10 minutes of iTunes being really slow but eventually I was able to get to the screen where I can backup or restore my phone. Thank you!

Unlock your phone before connecting to the computer. Trust the computer if prompted.

My situation took a turn. So now iTunes is detecting my phone because I can see the little phone logo show up. The issue now is that I can't do anything. I can't click on the phone logo to perform any actions, but iTunes has detected my phone now.

I just restored the iPhone in recovery mode and it is at its factory settings. The phone shouldn't be locked and I don't think I can get the trust button during setup mode. iTunes is detecting my phone but the phone button is grey as shown in the picture and I can't really do anything.

I do have one more issue though, I am trying to restore a previous backup onto this phone but I am not able to click the button.

Have you switched between the Microsoft Store and the standard iTunes setup installer versions at some point? Did you ever backup to iCloud for diversity?
