Maps malfunctioning on iPhone

Maps on iPhone frequently uses a random unfamiliar address in a nearby town for HOME, in two different and recurring instances - a personal contact's HOME and my own HOME. The name of the unknown address is very similar to both known addresses, but it is a location I have never visited and shouldn't be in my searches or any contact.

How can this recurring but not consistent error be fixed?

Also, Maps has started using addresses I have deleted and changed for other contacts, guiding me to old addresses - how weird is that?

Please help!

Hi nancyfromsharon,

Thanks for reaching out to the community. Does the correct information for your "Home" appear in your contact card? If you go to Settings > Siri & Search > My Information, does your correct contact information appear? Those can be factors that can lead to an incorrect "Home" address. Be sure to report any issues with Maps by following the steps and article below.

  1. "In the Maps app, scroll down to the bottom of the screen.
  2. Tap Report an Issue. From this screen, you can report a street, place, or route issue, add a place to Maps, or report an incident.

3. After you've chosen an issue, follow the onscreen instructions".
