How to change a white color in final cut pro?

Hello,

I am trying to change the color of white objects in final cut pro.

Whereas I can find a ton of videos on how to change colors with hue vs hue, this does not work for whites. Is there anyone who knows how I should approach this?

Thank you!

Tom

So you want something that is white to show as another color, right?

You can do it fairly easily on the Color Board, just by dragging the puck around:

Of course, here I used a solid generator as an example.

You can add a color board, apply a color mask (and possibly also a shape mask) to select the white portion you want to affect.
