Regarding google drive storage purchase issue

iCloud keeps telling me to pay I have never used iCloud. I suppose it backs up your files on a big computer, but I don't need that. I have enough disk space on my iMac and have a couple of external hard disks, which are more than enough to store any data I like. Always showing like this but no storage providing. I hav been waited for a month still same display..
