If you enabled Find My Network before it was lost, and left Wi-Fi and Bluetooth on, then if it is detected by other iPhones they can anonymously report its location to Apple’s Find My server, and you can see where it was reported. This only works in the first 24 hours after it is lost.

You will have to search the old-fashioned way!
