iPad Messages No Sidebar I just opened Messages and the current conversation was full screen with no sidebar. I’ve no idea how it got that way and I could find no way to get the sidebar back to go to a different conversation. I quit and restarted Messages and it came back the same way then, after a few second, the sidebar magically appeared. Is this a bug or a feature I don’t know how to operate? Thanks in advance.

Can't delete text message on iPhone XR, iOS 16.0.2 Iphone XR iOS 16.0.2 I have one SMS in my messages that I cannot delete. I press hard on it, then press "delete" and the SMS pops back in the list. I can delete other messages, but this single one stays. I have restarted my iPhone, nothing changes. Anybody else experiences this?

There really is no other way on the iPhone. You can, however, archive your messages to your computer using third-party applications such as PhoneView (Mac) or TouchCopy (Mac or Windows). Both will allow you to save the message threads as text or pdf files that are much easier to search through.
