Apple icon start up line won’t finish
iMac 27″, 10.15
If it has been in this condition for a reasonable time ( say 5 - 6 minutes ) and still does not finish, hold the Power Button until the computer switches OFF.
Unplug from Power Source and pause 1 - 2 minutes, the plus to Electrical Outlet.
As this looks like a iMac - use a USB Keyboard directly connected to computer.
Hole the power button and the SHIFT key.
Keep holding the Shift Key until the Apple Logo is presented and the " loading line " appears. ( this is a Safe Boot )
If all goes well, the computer will load slowly and can take up to 5 - 6 minutes to load to Log In Screen.
Please advise about the outcome .
