iphone 14 turns on in pocket

I have never had issues with prior iPhone, but without a fingerprint function my phone is constantly turning on in my pocket. I'm guessing it is on before it goes into my pocket (I hate the face id)... You look at your phone to make sure it is off and it turns on! You slide into your pocket and it activates.

How can you stop your phone from turning on? I don't want to have to put a code in every time I want to use my phone.
