Welcome to Apple Support Communities. We have some great steps available that will possibly resolve these issues. Please test after each step:
- Restart the app: Quit Apple Music and then reopens it.
To make sure that the app is completely closed and all background processes are stopped before reopening it, follow these steps:
- From the Home screen, tap Apps.
- Tap Settings.
- Scroll to Apps, then tap it.
- Tap Apple Music.
- Tap Force Stop. If you see a message that says "If you force stop an app, it may misbehave," tap OK.
- Return to the Home screen or the application list, and reopen Apple Music.
- If the issue persists, restart the device.
- Clear the app cache
- From the Home screen, tap Apps.
- Tap Settings.
- Scroll to Apps, then tap it.
- Tap Apple Music.
- Tap Storage, then tap Clear Cache.
- Return to the Home screen or the application list, and reopen Apple Music.
- Restart the device
- Sign out of Apple Music and then sign back in
To sign out:
- Open the Apple Music app.
- From the bottom of the screen, tap either Library, Listen Now, Browse, or Radio.
- Tap
. - Tap Account Settings.
- From the bottom of the screen, tap Sign Out.
To sign back in:
- Tap
. - Tap Settings.
- Tap Sign In.
Keep in mind that when you sign out and then sign back in, you must re-download all of the music that you want to listen to offline.
