Phone location was wrong.

I was trying to login in one of my apps and when I logged in, I got a text saying that my acct “was recently logged into from Unknown device in Las Vegas.” But I’m in Los Angeles. I checked my device and it’s not connected to any VPNs. I already changed my password. How could this happen and what else should I do?
