Burst mode not always working? Why?

Question

Burst mode not always working? Why?

Some of my photos in the same conditions, on the same day, I the same 10 minutes with a 10 second timer are burst photos, but some are not, I’m literally seated with the phone in a holder.

I was hoping to be able to select one because eyes were closed and realized these ones didn’t get taken as a burst?

Why?

How do I turn it back on??

Open Camera.
Do one of the following: ...
Lift your finger to stop.
To select the photos you want to keep, tap the Burst thumbnail, then tap Select. ...
Tap the circle in the lower-right corner of each photo you want to save as an individual photo, then tap Done.

This is not a relevant answer. I’m talking about ten second timer photos.

also there is nothing after “do one of the following”??????

what would I be stopping if I haven’t done anything yet…
