Hello tinevimbo210,
Thanks for posting in the Apple Support Communities.
It sounds like a different Apple ID email address is appearing when you try to update an app. Is that correct?
If we have that correct, try deleting the app to download it with the correct Apple ID account. Before proceeding with this step, it's important to note any data within the app may be removed along with user settings. If you are concerned about data loss, we'd recommend speaking to WhatsApp regarding your options using: Contact WhatsApp
If you previously used an old Apple ID account, you may need to do this with other apps that were downloaded at the time. Should that process not clear this up, you'll want to try to reset the password. For steps on this, check out the following resource: If you forgot your Apple ID password - Apple Support
Reset your Apple ID password on your iPhone or other trusted Apple device
1. Go to Settings.
2. Tap your name > Password & Security > Change Password.
3. Follow the onscreen instructions to reset your password.
You can also follow this process on a trusted iPad, iPod touch, or Apple Watch.
To reset your password on your trusted Mac, choose Apple menu > System Settings (or System Preferences) > Sign in with your Apple ID (or Apple ID). Then click Password & Security, Change Password, and follow the onscreen instructions.
If you need additional assistance, contact Apple Support directly to work with your Apple ID account.
Take care!
