Apple id

my friend had a virus on the phone, she still uses her apple id, could there be a virus on this apple id? Does it disappear after resetting?

There are no known viruses that can affect an iPhone, so your your friend's iPhone having a virus in incredibly unlikely.


Even if they somehow did have a virus, there's no way for it to also affect an Apple ID. An Apple ID is just an account stored in a server. It's not a device or anything that can run code required for a virus to work.


Resetting the iPhone has no effect on the Apple ID, separated things. Resetting the iPhone would completely wipe anything on the iPhone. So whatever may have been there, even if it's not likely to be a virus, would be erased from the iPhone.
