M2 12.9 iPad Pro Display — MAJOR BUG

Significant bug on video for new 12.9 inch iPad Pro screens — reproduced on every new device I’ve tried (5 devices). Screen flickers black when cutting between video shots with contrast changes, on multiple apps including Apple’s TV app. Tried this with 2 devices at home and 3 in the Apple Store.

A good example anyone can try: watch the Teaser Trailer for Severance in the Apple TV app. 25 seconds in, when it cuts from the “from Ben Stiller” card back to footage, it will flicker. 100% reproducible.

Captured stills by recording slo mo on iPhone, what looks like black flickers to the naked eye shows as green / blue flickers on camera.
