Ventura - Custom Printer Settings not being saved

I load three separate images in Preview and select two of the images in the side panel.

1. I turn on Pages>"Selection in Preview"
2. I turn on "Double Sided"
3. I save these setting in "Presets" as a custom preset with the name "MySetting"

Everything prints as it should when I print but if I shut down Preview and then load another three images and select Custom>"MySetting" - the settings to not activate i.e. I get the default settings.

In other words, I cannot save customised presets.

I've also tried with setting up "Job Preset" with the same result.
