When my wife tries to leave her shared library it tells her that “she is unable to leave and to try again later”

When my wife tries to leave my shared library it tells her that she “Is unable to leave and to try again later” for iOS 16. This if for a iPhone 13 that my wife has, who I have shared a library with. I can leave and delete the library for my self for my iPhone 13 Pro Max but she cannot leave on her iPhone 13. She gets the error below

I have solved my problem.

Somehow I managed to invite the shared library owner to be a participant.

In the settings for Photos/Shared Library the owner was listed as "Bob / invited" rather than

"Bob (Owner)".

I fixed this by selecting "Remove from Shared Library" after selecting "Bob / invited" and scrolling to the bottom. The Shared Library page then indicated "Bob (owner)" and I was able to invite Alice to become a participant.

I don't know how this happened. I originally created the shared library on my iMac. Perhaps I selected the wrong member to invite as a participant. Obviously it shouldn't allow one to invite oneself to participate but obviously it can.

Thank you for your reply, and for looking through the article:

Seemed, from the article, that your wife had to choose which photos she wanted to keep before she left, and then wait for them to download to her device, before she could safely leave (ie: without losing the photos, and access to them). Hence the "try again later"). I could be wrong.

If you want to send feedback to Apple:

Apple provides a web-page for sending feedback (link below):

They likely won't reply, but if others are also reporting this as a problem (or bug)

we may see changes in a future update.

Well, in that case, maybe your wife might want to just restart her iPhone.

If you have deleted the library, then there is no library to leave.

If you haven't yet deleted the library, and you think this is a software problem

perhaps you would want to send feedback to Apple.

If needed: Share > eMail (or Messages) may be a simpler way to share that one photo.

I understand that from the article. I only shared 1 photo with my wife and from my screenshot above you can see that it says it has No items in Keep Everything and in Keep Only what I contributed. How long should one photo I shared with her take to download? Does it take a few days because that’s how long I have been waiting. Hence the error that she is still getting now.
