apple watch on owner lock

My apple iWatch is on owner lock and I was trying to reset it but I can't because I do not know/remember the original apple ID password I used to set it up. Because of that, I cannot access anything for the watch on my watch app on my phone and have already purchased a new watch so I can get this removed off my iCloud account and let my mom have it and set it up on hers. I have tried doing it on icloud.com/find and it says that my apple ID is unable to view the find my app. How do I go about removing it off my account so I can give it to my mom?
