Complicated Apple ID Question

I have a serious dilemma I want to potentially solve or at least have a definitive answer to. Long story short when I was a kid I had a iPad 2 and a different Apple account than I do now.(2012-2015) Someone changed my passcode and my iPad was locked from trying too many times. I had to confirm my apple id to recover the iPad but I couldn't access my account because the security questions were made by my father who isn't around anymore and I couldn't receive an email because my account was locked. I had tons of photos and videos from my childhood that are on that account I am dying to recover. I know the Apple ID and Password, as well as the birthday, but I am unable to answer the security questions or receive an email. Is there any solution to this? Thanks for reading I really appreciate it.

Even if you would be able to get access to your Appel ID again by using the Account Recovery, you would still have to erase the iPad due to the forgotten Lock Screen code. There is no way around that.

For the security questions, if you are being told there isn't enough information to reset them, contact Apple ID Support.

If you don't know the answers, if the steps in the article below don’t work, contact Apple ID Support, although based on multiple posts I have read, they will not help you recover the answers to your security questions.

Without proof of your identity via security questions and other carefully selected criteria, Apple Support can't help you reset a password or perform any other actions on your account. These policies are audited and reviewed on a regular basis.
