FYI: Canon EOS Utility issue

Encountered EOS 3 Utility problems with my Canon R5 with Ventura. Downloading the latest version of the utility did not resolve the issue. As a workaround until Canon addresses the issue, the Image Capture tool can be used to download images from the camera.

When will Apple support Canon R5 Mark II raw format for thumbnail preview in macOS Sequoia? Does anyone know how much longer before apple can add this new format to their system? This camera is marketed for professionals, but is not suitable to use if you also work with a mac without having to have other apps taking up space. I use photoshop, but view the thumbnail view all the time in normal files before working with them, it's normally quicker to find the photo your looking for than having to actually open up each file, when you have thousands it becomes a painful task. It's been over months since this camera was released, so does anyone know how much longer till apple have all the info to support this file type for thumbnail preview to work? anyone else having issues to see canon cr3 files on iPhone? have a canon r7 using cannon import application from appstore downloads the photos, jpg are being display on the photos app just fine, cr3 files show a gray box for them, if i try to edit it shows "error loading picture" and doesnt give me any option to edit it but previews the image, same thing happens if you see the gray box and hit the infromation it loads but as soon as you exit it it wont display it again. Tried sending file from sd card and camera to the Macbook and to the iphone same thing happens it justs displays a gray box, cr2 files from an old canon 90d works just fine just cr3 files being affected [Re-Titled by Moderator]

Unable to scan on Canon Color ImageClass MF743cdw When trying to scan from a Canon Color Imageclass MF743cdw I get an error message "The operation could not be completed (com.apple.imagecapture error 4294957375.) (-9921).

The latest update from Canon (see below) seems to have addressed the issue with Ventura.
