Music doesn't count last track played

After installing Ventura, Music doesn't register the last track as played.

I manage my new imported cd's through a smart playlist. This list automatically gathers all tracks on my my computer and with the number of times played as 'zero'. In Ventura (Music 1.0.3.138) I can play an album and every track registers as played an thus disappears from the list. Except the last track, where there is no 'number of played' being recorded.

I did some experimentation, it seems that when there is no track being played after a track, Music doesn't seem to record the track as benign played.

Might I have found a bug?
