How to rename the Apple TV 4K

I am trying to name an Apple TV 4K I use in the class room. I go to settings and Airplay and HomeKit. Then I go to HomeKit and it asks me to add this Apple TV to home app. I tried that and I don't want to use that app in the classroom. Is there a another way to add a name?
