I use the Slim Cycle, a stationary bike that also has resistance bands to simultaneously work out arms. The watch is interpreting these arm movements as steps, misleadingly upping the count. Any way to prevent this without removing the watch?

Hello ShiftMish,

You may be able to change your workout type to Other for those specific workouts, which records movements a bit differently.

Also, take a look at this article: Start a workout on Apple Watch - Apple Support In the "Create a Multisport workout" section, you may be able to combine your actions to record the activities accurately.

If none of those options work, you can certainly leave feedback on this functionality. No one is better qualified to provide feedback about Apple products and services than the people who use them. The following link will get you started: Product Feedback.

Let us know if we can help with anything else at all or if this doesn't settle your issue so we can look into this further with you. Thanks and have a fabulous day!
