Reset Apple Music For You station preferences without wiping out profile and playlists

My For You station is an absolute mess. It plays songs i have "thumbs downed" constantly, it cannot handle the fact that I have different genre's of music saved into my library, and repeatedly plays songs I set as favorites a decade ago but have since deleted and "thumbs downed". I want to start over clean from scratch, but according to the Apple support it is impossible for the Music support agents to reset this information for me and my only option is to delete my profile wholly and start over. Are there ANY alternatives for this hugely flawed system, or is this paid service telling me "Life is tough you have to deal with it?"

Someone, please, give me step by step instructions how to remedy this without just "go to settings and delete profile".

I would love to change what song/artists my For You radio station is pulling from, but it appears to be locked behind Apple's program architecture and we no longer receive access to it, and they do not offer to clear this data for paid users. This means any preferences I have changed my mind about since starting my account are meaningless, and I'm stuck with the same issues forever as long as I am paying, unless i wish to permanently delete all the playlists I've worked hard to create over the years for myself and others.
