accessing recovery emails using different browsers

though a number of available browsers appear for use under Safari, it is my experience that there is only one browser - Safari - and a number of web sites associated with the browsing activity - e.g. google, yahoo, bing, and so on. In reality, these other browsers have been made compatible w/ Safari but are not fully stable. For example, if you open up google, but go to a yahoo web site to check your mail, it becomes yahoo browser. On other platforms, you open the Google browser and key in yahoo, you will go to the yahoo website while still maintaining Google as the browser. To open email accounts in web email service, a second or recovery email may be needed to get into a given email account -yahoo, gmail etc- to receive a code to access mail. you then open up another different browser like Yahoo or Bing, go to the yahoo site, enter id and password for recovery email, open it up, get the code, and enter it into the account previously accessed on Google. this is impossible on the MacBook because the browser sites r not legit - they seem custom made as adjuncts to safari. If you start w Google, enter Yahoo.com to go to site, it's no longer Google browser but Yahoo browser and it places you right into the initial email account you couldn't get into w/out a code provided by one of your recovery emails. Google browser is google browser as Yahoo is Yahoo browser and so on in terms of how they function as search engines. The lack of stability appears when one enters another site which also serves as a browser. Enter Google to get mail at Yahoo, open your yahoo mail, ok, but try another. browser for recovery email Yahoo. com, you get the exact same email account + Yahoo browser. I hope this makes sense. BTW, this is not Yahoo taking over. I enter Safari and the machine "has learned" I want Safari as my preferred search engine.
