iPhone 14 Pro keyboard clicks are very faint

My husband and I both have iPhone 14 Pros. His keyboard clicks are nicely audible; mine are not - they can be heard very faintly. And, yes, I have already turned the setting for Keyboard Clicks off and on again to no avail. And, no, Do Not Disturb is not on. And, no, the phone is not on Silent. And, yes, the volume is all the way up and works fine with all other sounds. Does anyone have any suggestions?
