Problem with Ordering of Smart Playlists on iPhone 12 Hi. Regardless of the order in which I arrange tracks in the smart playlists on my iMac, they ALWAYS appear on my iPhone in reverse alphabetical order of artiste/group. I've tried using Copy to Play Order and adding new Edit Rules such as "Media kind is Music", but I haven't found anything that works, i.e that ensures that the iPhone playlists follow the order of the lists on the iMac. If anyone's got a solution, I'd love to hear it!

Apple Podcast Listen Now not syncing since updating to iOS 16 I updated to iOS 16 on my phone and now Apple Podcast Listen Now is not syncing correctly to show all new episodes. It is only syncing 2 of 10 daily shows. I have tried unfollowing and re-following, that didn't help. I have tried changing my settings. That didn't help. I have it set to hid all played episodes, so now I am resorting to going through and opening each show in my library to see if there is a new episode so that I can listen to it. This is a pain in my rear. It works correctly on my laptop, so it is clearly the phone update that is the issue. Anyone else experiencing this?

TVOS 16 won't allow me to click on the "even numbered" songs in my playlists! After upgrading to TVOS 16.0, when playing shared music from my iMac's playlists on my 2nd gen Apple TV 4K (using the "Computers" app, and selecting "Music"), I can no longer directly the select the "even numbered" songs in the playlists queue (i.e., the 2nd, 4th, 6th, etc.) on the Apple TV's screen. This happens whether shuffling the songs in the playlist, or playing them in order. I have tried quitting the app and starting again, choosing different playlists, re-starting the Apple TV, pulling the power plug for 1 minute on the Apple TV and then plugging it back in, and even resetting the Apple TV. Nothing works. The problem has persisted into TVOS 16.1. If I let the current song finish playing, it WILL advance to the next song. BUT, if I try using the Apple TV's remote to swipe to the next ("even-numbered") song on the TV screen, it skips over that song. It only acknowledges the NEXT "odd-numbered" song (i.e., the 3rd, 5th, 7th, etc.) as being "clickable." This happens swiping forward or backwards. Has anyone else had this problem with tvOS16? Any solutions? Apple support is looking into the problem, but has been stumped so far.

Hi there David,

Use Siri or open Music in CarPlay to play music that’s available on your iPhone—including songs, artists, albums, playlists, and Radio.

Siri: Say something like:

• “Shuffle this playlist”

Play music with CarPlay

The above article also provides guidance on the icons you'll see when using Music from CarPlay, including the icons for Shuffle, and to repeat a single song.
