Regarding Apple Care Warranty

I live in Sri Lanka. I bought a MacBook Pro in 2019 and in 2020 I extended the apple care plan for two more years, which is expiring in December 2022. When I approached Sri Lanka's apple authorised dealer, they say that I can't extend my apple care plan. I would like to know more about this.

Continue your AppleCare+ coverage - Apple Support suggests that your authorised dealer is correct. The support document says that extended AppleCare coverage is available in Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Spain, the United Kingdom, and the United States, and in China mainland.
