Apple Watch sometimes tracks sleep stages and sometimes doesn't.

As can be seen from the attached pictures, sometimes my Apple Watch doesn't track sleep stages and instead just quotes "Asleep". Does anyone know how to fix this?

Thanks.

Hey farot,

If this is happening, it might not be a bad idea to cover the basics, such as restarting your iPhone and Apple Watch, ensuring that both your iPhone and Apple Watch are updated to the latest software versions, and maybe even removing and remaking your sleep schedule.

  1. Restart your iPhone
  2. Restart your Apple Watch
  3. Update your iPhone or iPad
  4. Update your Apple Watch
  5. Turn off alarms and delete sleep schedules in Health on iPhone
  6. Set up a sleep schedule for a Sleep Focus in Health on iPhone

If after trying all of that, the issue remains, Get Support from Apple directly here for continued assistance.

Take care.

Hi, same on my end. It doesn’t the stages of sleep, just the total sleep time. I’ve unpaired my watch 7, restarted the phone and the watch and then paired them back again - still no effect. Can someone help fixing this please? It’s important for me to know the sleep stages, this is pretty much the reason why i got my watch.
