Placing photos in folders

An album can only contain photos and videos.

You can not create a folder in an album!

A folder can only contain other folders and albums.

You can not store any photos / videos directly in a folder!

I have folders for each year: 2022, 2021, ...

Each of these folders contains albums for the different events: 2022-10-25-Family Party ...

For vacations I create a sub-folder in the folder 2022: 2022-06-USA Vacation

This folder will then contain albums for each day: 2022-06-05-Page, Arizona

You can never move photos out of the global view!!

Global view will always contain all your photos and videos.

Folders and albums are optional ways to organise your data.

You can create new folders and sub-folders.

Each folder can contain multiple albums.

Each album can contain multiple photos and videos.

The same photo / video can be in multiple albums.

But all photos and videos that you have will always be shown in the global view, there is no way to have them only in an album!
