Your connection is not private: NET::ERR_CERT_AUTHORITY_INVALID

Please my mac book pro 2018, chrome keeps showing your connection is not private NET::ERR_CERT_AUTHORITY_INVALID, my time and date are correct, I tried the steps that lead to DST root ca 3, but that was not available on my system. Any help please It is MAc OS Monterey, 12.6.1

Why won't my Mac running Sonoma prompt me for my CAC certificate on .mil websites? I cannot get my Mac to prompt me for my CAC certificate when I try to access .mil websites. The computer can see my smart card reader and read my certificates. I can sign documents with my CAC using Adobe Acrobat. I have tried both of my CAC readers that previously worked with my MacBook and neither will work on Chrome or Safari. I went to militarycac.com and restarted the entire process of installing the certificates in my keychain to no avail. I'm not sure if this is a Sonoma problem or something else but I've tried every solution I can find online and nothing has made any difference. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Using a CAC on my 2022 Macbook Air Monterey Why am I getting this message when I use my CAC? No valid client certificate found in the request. No valid certificates found in the user's certificate store. Please try again after closing and reopening the browser and choose a different authentication method.

That certificate is not as would be expected.

What sort of network as you connected to? Do you have any add-on network-filtering apps or tools installed on this Mac, or any add-on VPN client apps installed on this Mac, or is this Mac connected to a school or business network that has implemented network monitoring?
