Contacts

All my contacts aren't backing up to iCloud

Hello kofe977,


Contacts are associate with email accounts. With that in mind, only the contacts associated with your iCloud account are going to be automatically synced to iCloud.


Here is how to check:


  1. Open Contacts on your MacBook Air
  2. In the left column you should see all the available accounts with contacts
  3. Click the different groups to see what contacts belong to each group


Contacts can be in more than one account at a time. This can be done by clicking on the account and dragging it to the account you want to add it to. You can use those steps to add any of your contacts to the iCloud account. They will then appear in the Contacts list when you go to iCloud.com.
