iMessages

Setting up my dads new iPad. He has never had nor used an apple device. Going through the setup process and when I got to point of setting up iMessages, I type his Apple ID then type in Password then I receive an error message stating iMessage error has occurred try again. Then same thing happens again. I’ve tried a dozen times. Any suggestions?

cannot use iMessages on iPad because the iPad insists I enter password for a Apple ID I don’t own I have talk to over six Apple employees over the past 5 years trying to resolve this issue. After back-and-forth phone meetings, all have given up with none giving follow up. Why this is, I do not know. Suffice to say it’s reached an epic level of bad. Again, cannot use iMessages on my iPad gen 3 because the iPad insists I enter password for a Apple ID I do not own. The device defaults to this incorrect Apple ID and from there I’m stuck.

iMessage Have a iPhone 14 plus and when my nephew reset my phone completely and now my iMessage is not working at all I can sign in using my Apple ID but that’s it just keep saying an error occurred during activation try again when I turn on iMessage can you help because I try everything already

Set up d iPhone for my child and can’t get iMessage to work Set up my old iPhone for my child and iMessage won’t work . It only sends as a text message .
