Chris,
Is there any particular reason not to show the all day events in the Lock Screen widget ?

would be nice if there was two different widgets to choose from. one like the one there is now and one that just say how many events you have that particular day.
it’s a bit annoying that it say 0 events when I’ve got two birthdays in the calendar.
Wow who’s coding iOS? How can you have 2 widgets with 2 separate sets of logic? all day events and birthdays should show on the Lock Screen widget with the ability to hide all day events like the Home Screen.
ios is getting sloppier and sloppier.
Hey there prateek_4695,
We understand you are having problems seeing all-day events on the Lock Screen of your iPhone.
If you are following Personalize your iPhone Lock Screen, you will be able to see upcoming calendar events. This would not include all-day events.
Perhaps adding a calendar widget to your Home Screen will suit your needs.
Have a good one!
No one here in this user-to-user forum could answer why Apple made a specific user interface choice. You can, however, let them know you'd like to see something different here:
Meanwhile, look at some of the many other calendar apps available and see if any of them have widgets you like better.
It might be worth checking some of the many (many, many) third-party calendar apps available in the App Store to see if they have any widgets you like better. Such apps will use the same calendar data as your regular calendar. You can just leave the app in the App Library.
