Contact the company that has it under management.

It's either the property of the company, in which case you probably bought a stolen phone, or they failed to properly remove it from management before selling it or passing it on.

Sounds like the seller is lying to you. That or they bought a stolen phone.

Devices purchased from Apple or other retailers who support the ABM program are registered with ABM as supervised at the time of sale.


Bottom line, the most likely explanation is you purchased a stolen phone. Return it and get your money back. If you can't get a refund, contact the police and/or the company who has it under management.
