Can an iPhone 7+ be updated to iOS 16

why iphone discountinued iphone 7 from update list of ios16....Most of the people have downloaded Beta version.....is there any way Iphone 7+ may get ios 16.

No, not to my knowledge.

I think you can use an Apple Watch running watchOS 8 with an iPhone running iOS 16 or later, but you cannot use an Apple Watch running watchOS 9 with an iPhone not supporting iOS 16 or later.

screen resolution
hardware changes
processor
updated storage
some features of iOS only accessed by its specific hardware for an example Camera

can i ask another question i recently bought apple watch series 7 and is has Os8 what if i connect this watch to my other iphone 8 plus and update its firmware to 9... will my watch be working with my current Iphone 7+ as os 9 is only given to IOS16.

Should i update to ios 9 with another mobile and again connect with 7+ with ios 9 apple watch features?
