How to activate my apple ID

I wanted to set up an Apple ID so I can start with Apple Podcasts Connect. However, Podcasts connect keeps saying I need to activate my Apple ID (which I created just beforehand). I already added a payment method and cannot find how to activate it anywhere. If I open itunes and try to sign in to the Itunes store, it asks me to review my account information. I clicked on 'review', but then nothing happens. I keep going round in loops and need my Apple ID to even ask a question to Apple. I do not own any Apple products, I just wanted to distribute my podcast to Apple podcasts and it appears to be really complicated to do that. Can anyone explain to me what I might have missed here? Thanks in advance!

If your account has been disabled for security reasons

If you see one of the following messages, your Apple ID locked automatically to protect your security and you can't sign in to any Apple services:

  • “This Apple ID has been disabled for security reasons”
  • "You can't sign in because your account has been disabled due to security reasons"
  • "This Apple ID has been locked due to security reasons"

You need to reset your password to regain access. Find out how to reset your password

If your account has been disabled in the App Store and iTunes Store

If you see a message that states your account has been disabled in the App Store and iTunes Store, contact Apple Support for help.
