Avast Software in Login Items

Looking through the System Setting --> Login Items and I see in the Allow in Background list "AVAST Software, a.s." I can't find an Avast app on my Ventura MBP. Only thing I find is a bunch of system files including "com.avast.av.uninstaller.xpc.plist" and "com.avast.Antivirus.SystemExtension" The add dates are about 15 months ago.

What is this? Why is it a login item? Should I remove all related files. I don't care for stuff being added to my system without my knowledge
