Can I force MAC OS Ventura to keep the dock on the MacBook screen and not jump to external monitor(s)?

Hello Bartido,

It looks like you're having issues keeping the Dock on the primary display (Your MacBook Air), and we'd be happy to look into this with you.

To get started, let's try to go to the Apple menu > System Settings > Desktop & Dock > Mission Control section. Uncheck " Displays have separate Spaces".

To apply this change, log out your account then log back in.

You can also, go to the Apple menu > System Settings > Desktop & Dock > "Position on screen" to either Left or Right. This will lock the Dock to one screen.

In the meantime, if you move your mouse to the very bottom of the display where you want your dock to appear, the dock will view on that display.

You can find these steps along with other information that may be helpful, here:

Use the Dock on Mac

We hope this information is useful. Kind regards.

Bartido,

You're very welcome. In reference to your inquiry about apps not staying on the extended display, let's ensure that your Mac is set to Power Nap. This feature allows your Mac to function in the background while it's asleep. You can access this feature by going to the Apple menu > System Settings, then click Energy Saver in the sidebar.

Please let us know if that helps.

Best regards.
