Every time my macbook awakens from sleep-mode I receive this notification: "Are you sure you want to quit all applications and log out now? If you do nothing, you will be logged out automatically in __ seconds. Sometimes when my macbook awakens from sleep mode it simply has already closed all open applications. I cannot seem to figure out how to turn this feature off in settings. Please help.

Thank you for responding. I have recently updated my laptop, but the issue had only gotten worse. It was simply closing and quitting all open applications after being on sleep mode, but I finally resolved the issue. In settings, I turned off the setting that said something along the lines of "after 10 minutes of inactivity, automatically log off." I can't recall exactly what it was called, but it worked. Thank you for your assistance anyways.

Once you have updated, you can try testing the issue again. Updating your computer ensures the latest bug fixes have been installed.
If that doesn't help, we would also recommend testing the issue in safe mode to see if it happens there as well. If it doesn't happen in safe mode, you can reboot your Mac and test it again.
