right click menu options jumping up multiple spaces

In the new update, when you right/alt click an image/link in a browser, the menu that pops up with options frequently jumps up an option or two, depending on whether or not (it seems) the new expanded menu extends past the bottom of the browser.

This is causing me to open, and then immediately close, window after window after window as opposed to opening the link in a new tab.

Does anyone also have this problem and is anyone aware of a fix? This appears to be a bug of some sort, or at the very least, lack of foresight into how a new right click function has been rolled out.

Let's clear Safari browsing history, quit Safari, then retry: Clear your browsing history in Safari on Mac - Apple Support

If the issue persists, start up in safe mode and test:

Start up your Mac in safe mode - Apple Support

i have the exact same problem on all my Macs in macOS Ventura. It is really annoying and I did not find any way to get rid of this behavior.

The issue is caused by adding a menu point "Copy selection" at the bottom of the right click menu with a slight delay. This makes the contextual menu jump up, so that I miss the command I wanted to use all the time, if I don't wait until after the menu jumped.

Very annoying.
