If I get a new phone with more storage and put all my stuff on it will I automatically get the new storage it came with my new storage or will I have the same storage?

The total storage capacity on your iPhone will remain the same. So, the storage capacity of your new iPhone will remain the same and will not change even if you transfer data from another device.
